JSIN is a bi-racial native of Kansas City, Missouri and as a mid-west veteran his love for entertainment has never known any bias. The motto during his up bringing has always been "if its HOT its HOT" never caring about the artist race, color, or creed, never cared about a coast, state, city, and/or block they represented. JSIN has been a student of the hip hop culture since it began.
Well versed in his knowledge of the art form JSIN's passion for hip hop grows stronger each and every year. JSIN started like most artist in the game, beating on lunch room tables, school desks, or anything that would make a sound he could groove too. He knew at a young age that music was the only thing in this life that he had a true passion for. Early in his journey he learned a valuable lesson from an established artist being interviewed on television.
That artist stated "Learn the business first!" something that rang bells in JSIN's head so loud he couldn't do anything else but learn the "BUSINESS" first. As years past he accumulated that knowledge and found that the "music industry" is something he truly didn't want to be a part of. The thought of paying back advances before seeing royalties, or not being in control of your masters, or even having an label executive tell you that your music isn't good enough to be released just didn't sit well with JSIN. Although the thought process behind it is understandable it still was something that discouraged JSIN more than encouraged him to pursue a career in the music business.
At this time Independent artist and the internet was not the way of getting your music heard. So with that JSIN continued to master his craft as a lyricist/songwriter having faith that when his time came it would be the right time. As he waited for the hip hop game to come to him per say he has became a certified sound/recording engineer, a producer, video director/editor and of course a TRUE emcee.
His journey has been a roller-coaster of ups and downs, trials and tribulations, real ones and fake ones and of course OG's and wannabes. As he's watched his beloved art form go from True Emcees to cats just mumbling over the microphone, and the internet and recording software bringing the value of good music to literally nothing . His passion has went from a fire to an inferno. With social-media and streaming websites now allowing the supporters to be very picky and get their music fix in just a click of a button. The movement behind your music is more substantial than ever.
JSIN from the beginning has always been extremely rebellious. Growing up on the fence of racism, being fed the traditional blahzay blah most people in this country are fed to believe. He's always been the one to question EVERYTHING. Being from the SHOW ME STATE didn't help or should I say helped cultivate his rebellious state of mind. So what better movement at this day and age could he have to bring to the fore front of hip hop and the music industry.
A person who doesn't conform to societies traditional beliefs, a person who will make you show him the proof before he believes its the truth, A person who doesn't see color as a reason for judgement, a person who will choose whats right over what is "politically correct" a person who believes in GOD!! and that's it! a person who knows that right is right and wrong is wrong no matter what title you have as a human being. While other artist are trying to be "gangstas", "d-boy's", or something their truly not. JSIN is focused on the people who are seeing the truth for what it is, gaining the knowledge that has been kept from us for so many years.
Not believing anymore in what is being told or sold to us by the mainstream media. JSIN is a Rebel! A Rebel with a cause!! A Rebel ready to fight for whats REAL, fight for the TRUTH, and fight for a future our kids can look forward too. And thru hip hop music I WELCOME all those who feel the same...to the REBELLION!!!!!!!!!!!
